EARLY ELEMENTARY SUNDAY SCHOOL

Second Floor in Education Building Rm 202
Age: K - 6th Grade
We offer Sunday school classes for Kindergarten - 6th Grade in the Education building. These classes are led by volunteers from the laity and use a curriculum by Cokesbury that encourages our young children to "dive deeper" into the Bible and explore their faith. We strive to teach, empower, and equip our children, and those who care for them, with grace-based resources that help them on the journey.
CONFIRMATION

Age: 6th Grade
We invite all 6th graders to join the Confirmation class. This is a continuation of their faith journey and the beginning of a lifetime commitment to God. It is a special time set aside to learn about who God is, what the United Methodists believe, and what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ.
Confirmation gets its name because we are confirming our baptism. Confirmands will learn about the baptismal vows that they will take or that were taken on their behalf at their infant baptism.
CHILDREN'S SERMON
Sunday Mornings 9:00a & 11:00a
Sanctuary
Age: Pre-K - 6th
Each Sunday we have a special sermon for our young children in the sanctuary during the first and second worship services. Pastor Howard Martin will announce the time has come for your children to come to the front of the alters where a special lesson has been prepared for them. This gives them the opportunity to interact with the lessons in the sanctuary.
After children's time you are welcome to have them stay with you in your pew or send them on to the nursery with Mrs. Kelly.
WORSHIP ON WEDNESDAYS
Wednesday Afternoons 3:45p - 5:30p
Fellowship Hall
Age: Pre-K - 6th
WOW is an after school children's ministry that starts as soon as school gets out! This program is designed to facilitate spiritual growth of these children through the exploration of the Bible.
If you would like your child to be picked up from school, we do offer pick-up from the Stephenville ISD schools. Kids are dropped off at the fellowship hall where they are fed snacks before continuing on to scripture lessons, activities and games.
RHYTHM RINGERS HANDCHIME CHOIR
Wednesdays (during WOW) 4:30pm - 5:30pm
Second Floor in Education Building Rm 210
Age: 4th - 6th Grades
This is one of the ways FUMC of Stephenville introduces music education in a Christ-centered environment. Rhythm Ringers are a hand-chime choir that performs periodically throughout the year on Sundays and Wednesdays. No experience required, please contact Laurie Lively for more information.
