Senior Adults
We are the oldest Sunday school group in the FUMC and are always welcoming new members! We utilize the Adult Bible Studies from Cokesbury and sing hymns every Sunday. We enjoy coffee before we start our agenda and follow a schedule at each gathering.

Our New Beginnings class covers a variety of topics led by Pastor Howard Martin. We gather together in the classroom right off the fellowship hall to study scripture and have in-depth conversations about readings and growth in faith.

Two or More is perfect for you if you're in search of an intimate group setting that studies the Word. Our studies vary from structured workbook and video tutorials to individuals teaching on a rotating basis, giving each of us an opportunity to present a lesson. We believe that when you teach, you have to study and this brings you closer to the Lord. We are made up of singles, married couples and unaccompanied spouses ranging in age from late thirties and up.

Young Adults
Families of Faith is a Sunday school group that is made up of young family adults who come together with the need for continual growth as Christians. Covering the Bible on our journey in growth we welcome scheduled guest speakers as well as class members that lead us at our gatherings. This provides pathways for discussion and growth on our spiritual journey. We welcome all of those who would like to be a part of this class.

Pastor Marilyn Jones leads this bible study group on Monday mornings and Wednesday evenings. Studies on other books and extra-biblical texts are arranged several times a year. Most notably during the Lenten season, just prior to Holy Week and Easter.
KNITTING WITH PRAYER

Love to knit? Love great company? This is the place for you! Knitting with prayer is a group of women who come together to crochet prayer shawls, hug rugs and baby blankets. We pray over them and give them to others who are ill, have experienced great loss or have a newborn. We do this so that we can give strength and hope and help them know they are not alone. Knitting experience is not required!

UWF's mission is presence, relationship, witness and sharing. Each 3rd Thursday we meet in the fellowship hall for meetings. We have dinner followed by a guest speaker and engaging conversations. From its beginning, United Methodist Women/United Women in Faith has focused on ministries with women, children and youth. We welcome all women young and old to join us on this mission. Events are held annually such as our Baked Potato Luncheon in March!

We are a group of men that gather in service to our church. All of us are at different stages in our walk with God and provide breakfast every 5th Sunday of each month. These Sundays we cook, serve and clean for all who come to partake in a meal together.
