TREE HOUSE

After School Program

OUR MISSION

The mission of the Tree House After School Program is to provide after-school supervision for the elementary-age children of working parents, in order to promote school achievement and good citizenship.

Single parents in our community find this program a tremendous benefit. Licensed, trained adults plan and provide after school transportation, assistance with homework, healthy snacks, socialization, art activities and recreation in a safe environment. The TreeHouse allows the after school security they need for their children so they can work without worry.

This is a great alternative to sending young children home alone after school. Serving children ages Kindergarten through 4th grade and is located in the First United Methodist Church. Most of the support for the TreeHouse comes from The United Way, but we still have to work hard each year to raise additional dollars to sustain the program.

Children enrolled in the program are picked up at Central Elementary Elementary School at the end of the school day and follows Stephenville ISD calendar and open from 3:00pm - 5:30pm on school days.

To qualify for the TreeHouse program, children must receive free or reduced lunches through the public school system and have working parents. Please call The TreeHouse After School Program at 254-965-9756 or the First United Methodist Church office at 254-965-5046 for more information
